I was having the BSOD on reboot too. But a long while back I had tried 13.x as the mod target and it didn't bluescreen. I didn't keep it at the time because other issues, which I have now worked out, and I am using 13.12 as the mod target driver. My legacy source is 9.3 mobility radeon driver, but it very well may be that 13.12 will dodge the bluescreen for you guys with other source drivers as well.

It seems I have not had enough luck !

I tried 14.4, 15.7 and 16.7 as modded drivers
I tried 9.11, 10.2 hotfix 702, vanilla 10.2, 10.2 agp hotfix and 11.3 agphotfix.

A few combinations didn't work at all (driver didn't start) but most did.

Only partial joy though. GPU acceleration works in Chrome but
- nasty BSOD during reboot
- dxdiag crashes
- gpucapsviewer crashes
- google reports GPU process crashes (but it works)

So it's not for the faint hearted. Wish someone posted a successful mix.

To begin with try the 9.11 and 10.2 one at a time as base for a newer driver and see which one offers the best stability and performance. Anything after the 10.2 could lead to complications. You will need to test and see if the post 10.2 legacy files mod and install without issues and whether BSODs occur.
Happy modding !!

hey Amiloman,
thanks for responding :)

vanilla 10.2 work absolutely fine but lack the features Chrome needs to accelerate things.

I only found these hotfixes

can you recommend version that works?

Try modding with older agp drivers instead of regular legacy drivers, agp gpus can be stubborn sometimes.

BSOD - Multiple IRP complete requests was created by crippler
hi,

I am experiencing repeatable BSOD during system reboot (right after 'shutting down' message).

gpu - agp radeon 9600 (DEV ID 4152)
win7 32 bit

modding 14.4, 15.7 & 16.7.3 - same issue
used legacy 10.2 as a source for files - both 'regular' ATI version and 'AGPFIX' version - same issue

tried replacing 4 basic files - same issue
tried replacing 6 files (4 basic + atidxx32 & aticfx32) - same issue
played with blockwrite / dmacopy options - same issue

suffice to say running legacy 10.2 does not experience this issue.

is there a fix please?
